“Perfect English holiday location”

Perfect English holiday location and a great holiday cottage.
Pollymoor is even better than in the photos, plenty of space for a family of 4, with children aged 14 and 8.

Our children loved the games room, and we enjoy the peace. The cottage is decorated in a fun and warm style, much more than a the basic holiday park offerings. The owners keep on top of things and were available if required.
Location wise it's a few minutes walk to the amazing beach that is Holywell Bay, which has everything from rocks to dunes and white sand to turquoise waters.

The immediate area is a quite residential cul de sac, so easy to sleep at night but a thatched pub across the road is less than 100m walk.

We certainly look forward to returning to Cornwall and will be aiming to book Pollymoor again.

Beautiful warm smiles and welcomes from our hosts! Lots of hot water and space, fun games and to do, plenty of space. Would have stayed longer if poss. Only minus was the meter feeding but it was pretty reasonable when added to the price overall. Lovely place for any family and all adults- LOVED it!

“Fantastic accommodation, great location. Perfect for a relaxing break.”

Stayed at Polymoor for a week in April 2016, our first trip as a family of four. Perfect for both us and the kids. Light airy rooms , very tastefully decorated felt like a home from home. Our eldest loved the playroom which is an added bonus and the garden is great for relaxing on a sunny eve.

Location wise there is a great beach within five minutes walk and if you are a runner or walker the path round the headland offers some amazing views. There's two great pubs within walking distance, both of which offer a good selection of food.

Aside from that Holywell is well situated for exploring the rest of Cornwall! Will be back!

“Could not have been better :-)”

Excellent accommodation, well beyond expectations, providing the utmost warmth and comfort, particularly during cold,February evenings.
The bungalow is situated within the quiet cul de sac of Treguth Close,Holliwell Bay,and is equipped to the highest standard,to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of both the winter, and summer traveller. The decked area to the rear of the property overlooking a private, lawned garden,is equipped with a barbecue,a summer house, and even a children's play room.!

We could not have felt more comfortable, during our stay, and every effort was made by the owner,Chris,to ensure this.

“Excellent location for beach holiday”

First of all apologies for the late delivery of this review. I thought I had inadvertently deleted your email but found it in another folder.

Holywell Bay village is quiet and geared to family holidays. If you are looking for a raver's holiday find somewhere else. Pollymoor Beach is a 1960s bungalow in a small cul-de-sac close to the centre of the village. The owners have gone to some trouble to give it a holiday "feel". Internal accommodation is of satisfactory 2 bedroom size and well equipped. There is good sized fenced in garden to the rear (with summerhouse and terrace). There is a long front drive with parking for 2/3 cars. The bungalow was clean and tidy on our arrival and the owners called us a couple of times on the installed phone to check everything was satisfactory. The quickest way to the superb Holywell Beach (where they were filming Poldark 2 at the time of our visit!) is via the back gate, a level 5 -10 minute walk. There are 2 village pubs which serve good quality pub food although we preferred the Treguth Inn for atmosphere.

“Absolute perfection!”

Pollymoor was the perfect home away from home. Beautiful house and spotlessly clean with every amenity that you could dream of, whatever age you are! The owners have thought of everything that you would need and have clearly thought of the smaller details.

We could not fault it and our one year old loved exploring the 'games room'! The garden looks great for older children and adults can chill on the deck! Perfect location for the beach and also exploring the local surroundings. We can't wait to return and have a brilliantly relaxing holiday.

We have been visiting Holywell Bay and Perranporth for the last 23 years at least 3 times very year so have stayed in A LOT of holiday rentals. This is by far the best we have ever found. It’s the little touches that make it a home from home, they have thought of everything we could possibly have needed. The cottage is so well equipped with a wide selection of DVD, even a DVD player in the bedroom and an MP3 player. The location is stunning just yards from the beach. The games room is fab for kids. We were lucky with the February weather, but if we had to spend more time indoors we would not have been bored. The owners are the perfect hosts and personally make sure everything is ok with the stay and communication leading up to the stay is excellent. I can’t rate this place highly enough!

Thank you for a lovely stay. We will be back!

Gorgeous place, love it!

We have stayed on a number of occasions and love it here. It's very luxurious and very cosy at the same time. My boys have a great time in the play room and it gives myself and my husband a chance to chill and spend time together as a family. Kitted out with everything you need in the kitchen, I think there's more than what I have at home even. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very clean. Would most certainly recommend to anyone and the owners are truly lovely people. Will definitely be visiting again.

Home from Home!

On our 7th stay in May, at this beautiful property in a wonderful location we brought grandparents who stayed at Hoblyns Cove next door. Once again our welcome, accommodation and the extras of milk, tea bags, coffee, dishwasher tablets, fizz et etc etc were waiting for us.We started our visits to Holywell Bay when our children were 3 and 5, they are now 10 and 12. We have progressed from setting up by the clear, safe, shallow stream that flows into the sea, ideal for building dams, floating boats, being pulled in little boats and fun bobbing down the fantastic sand dunes, to now bodyboarding in the lovely waves of the bay.We have BBQ d in the dunes, explored the famous holy well ( when we eventually discovered it), hunted for buried treasure ( left by nana and grandad), flown kites, enjoyed numerous picnics and summer drinks at Pirans Inn - well you have to pass it on the way back across the stream to the beach.... So it would be rude not to pop in . The Treguth inn serves wonderfully fresh food and we eat there a couple of times a year.
